FAQ

1. What is a Lost Time Injury (LTI) Display?

A Lost Time Injury (LTI) Display is a digital LED scoreboard that shows workplace safety statistics, such as the number of days since the last lost time injury, current-year LTI figures and total recorded injuries. Displaying this information prominently helps improve safety awareness and encourages employees to maintain safe working practices.

2. How does the LTI counter update automatically?

The counter can be configured to increment the number of days automatically using a built-in real-time clock (RTC) or a compatible controller. Depending on the configuration, the display can also receive data from external systems to keep safety statistics updated with minimal manual intervention.

3. Can the counter be reset after a workplace accident?

Yes. Depending on the selected configuration, the counter can support manual, remote or automatic reset functions. An authorized person can reset the day count following a qualifying incident, in accordance with your company’s safety policy. External reset control may also be possible with compatible equipment.

4. Can the display show multiple safety statistics?

Yes. The LTI Display can be customized to show several safety indicators, including days since the last LTI, current-year injury figures, total LTI cases, near-miss incidents and safety targets. The number of metrics and screen layout depend on the display size and selected configuration.

5. Is the LTI Display suitable for outdoor installation?

Yes. Indoor and outdoor models are available. For outdoor use, the display can be specified with a weather-resistant enclosure, suitable IP protection and high-brightness LEDs for improved daylight visibility. The final specification should match the installation environment and exposure to rain, dust and sunlight.
