What is a Queue Management System (QMS)?
A Queue Management System (QMS) is a digital solution that organizes customer or visitor queues using queue tickets, electronic displays and counter-calling functions. It helps reduce confusion, improve customer flow and provide a more organized service experience. Custronics offers queue management solutions for government offices, kliniks, hospitals, banks, retail outlets and other service environments in Malaysia.
How does the Queue Management System work?
Visitors obtain a queue ticket from a ticket dispenser or are assigned a queue number through the configured registration process. They wait until their number is called and displayed on the main screen, which indicates the relevant service counter. Optional voice announcements can help visitors identify when it is their turn. The workflow can be configured according to your service process and counter arrangement.
Can the system support multiple counters and service categories?
Yes. The system can be configured to support multiple counters and service categories, such as registration, payment, consultation or customer enquiries. Each counter can call the appropriate queue number, while the main display shows the relevant queue and counter information. The configuration depends on the number of counters, queue rules and operational requirements.
Is the Queue Management System software developed in-house?
Yes. Custronics develops its Queue Management System software in-house. Our software is designed around standardized display layouts and operating features to provide a consistent user experience, simplify system deployment and facilitate ongoing support. This standardized approach allows us to offer a reliable and practical queue management solution for various environments, including government offices, kliniks, hospitals, retail outlets and customer service centers.
