FAQ

1. Can downtime reasons be displayed on the screen?

Yes. The display can show the reason for downtime, such as material shortage, machine breakdown, quality issue, maintenance, or other customized reasons. The reason can be selected or received from the connected PLC, system, or operator input.

2. Can the display connect to PLC or SCADA systems?

Yes. The Downtime Status Display can be integrated with PLC, SCADA, MES, sensors, and other production systems. Depending on the application, communication can be supported through interfaces such as RS232, RS485, Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, or Ethernet.

3. Can multiple machines or lines be shown on one display?

Yes. A single display can be configured to show the status of multiple machines or production lines. Each line can display information such as RUNNING, DOWN, STOPPED, MAINTENANCE, downtime duration, or other customized status information.

4. Is downtime duration tracked automatically?

Yes. When connected to the appropriate machine, PLC, sensor, or control system, the display can automatically start and track the downtime duration when a machine or production line enters a downtime condition.

5. Can alerts or alarms be triggered for long downtime?

Yes. The system can be configured to provide visual and/or audible alerts when downtime exceeds a predefined duration. For example, a signal tower, buzzer, or alarm message can be triggered to notify supervisors or maintenance personnel.

6. Can the display be customized as per our requirements?

Yes. The display can be customized according to your production requirements, including display size, LED color, number of lines, status messages, downtime timer, reason codes, communication interface, layout, enclosure, and mounting method.
